I don't know if this counts as concept art, but I drew this map and thought it looked kind of cool, so I wanted to share it.
The map represents the part of my fictional world in which my story (a book I've been working on for a long time) takes place. The countries are decided chiefly by the large river you can see in the middle of the map. This river splits in two. Between the split is what is known as the kingdom of Elves, and it is one of the few places you can find the elves, you might call it a safe haven.
North west of the river is the land of Alswaith, where the 'Free Beings' live. The free beings are a country of assorted mythicle beings (such as fauns, centaurs, minotaurs, fairies, gnomes, and talking animals) who work together (most of the time) to keep a peaceful land. The Vale of Moot, which takes up the majority of the space of Alswaith that you can see, is a meeting place for all the tribes of the Free Beings can come to a dissension about important matters.
On the eastern side of the map is Liocea (which is not labeled on the map) Liocea is a medieval, castles and knights sort of land where there are mostly humans. Liocea is separated into five sections: the land of the hawk (to the south) the land of the horse (north of the hawk), the land of the wolf (north of the horse), the Erling Moors ( east of the wolf), and the land of the bear (which is not on the map. It is east of the Erling moors). These sections have something to do with the government of Liocea, but I won't go into that because it's kind of complicated.
The little circles half filled are cities, and the light brown lines with dots next to them are roads. As a note, the map only shows a little bit of each country. They are really rather large countries, but the map only shows as much as is needed for the story.
