Hi CG Cookie!
I've used Blender off and on for the past 4 years. I recently negotiated a different role at my company (I'm a mechanical engineer for buildings), which allows me to focus on visualization work almost full time. So things just got real for me.
I've been doing Everyday's on Instagram for the past few months (@tylerjdisney), but realized I wasn't increasing my knowledge or skills as fast as I want. So I'm focusing now on following on all the courses here, and engaging with the community in order to get (and give!) feedback, learn from everyone, and do some serious work.
My everyday's are on my website.
The aim of my work is to communicate complex systems in an intuitive way (such as how the mechanical systems in a building work), and to be able to depict built environments that make people want to build them and live in them. So sort of like architectural visualization, but for mechanical systems.
