Hey guys, I've been a bit worried to post a sketch/poly book here for a bit as I'm completely new to 3d but if I can get feedback it would be really appreciated!
I started learning 3d a couple of months ago, with blender. I've been trying to find an easy way to create backgrounds for a 2d animation I'm working on and make them look 2d. I'm getting close with blender's freestyle and here's an attempt at rendering it in 2d.
It's close but I'm still getting jaggy lines on some edges which bugs me.
Some storyboards kind of showing a round of idea of what I'm trying to do.
I'm hoping I'll get there soon, i'm still wanting to animate the characters in 2d, and keep the buildings/forrest scenes in 3d.
By the way if any of you have any resources you can point me to on 2d rendering and hard surface modeling of large city scapes that would be incredibly useful! Hoping I dont need to make the city building by building
Concepts/sketches below ( I can make a sketchbook/polybook in one topic right?)
